In a word, Al Davis is active. Al joined Latter & Blum in 1977 after 28 successful years as owner and manager of a chain of clothing stores. He qualified for membership in the Lifetime Million Dollar Club after his first five years in the business. Given the task of forming and directing the Latter & Blum Industrial Division in 1981, Al guided the rapid growth that captured 46% of the local market by 1984. Al also developed and maintains the industrial market database for Latter & Blum.

Al has sold or leased over $400 million of real estate during his career. He is the only individual to ever receive the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors® top three awards: the “Poche Wagespack” for largest sales and leasing volume, “Ruby” for most sales and leasing transactions and the “Diamond” for most sales volume. In 2004, Al had a street named after him in Elmwood Industrial Park. He has bought and/or sold over 550 acs. in this park, more than all other brokers combined.
