Background & Experience
Ty M. Martin is a native of Kenner, Louisiana who graduated from Terrebonne High School in Houma, LA. Ty’s passion for real estate started when he enrolled as a freshman at Louisiana State University A&M in the Fall of 2013 and was introduced him to commercial real estate. During his tenure at LSU he has been an active member in the Student Real Estate Association at LSU including Vice President and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
In 2016, Ty became an intern at NAI Latter & Blum Commercial Real Estate Division of the Baton Rouge office. After graduating from LSU in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, he would begin working towards becoming a licensed agent. Ty joined the company as a commercial sales and leasing agent in the June 2018. Ty is also an iOS technical expert at Apple Inc. With his background in marketing, technology, problem solving, and customer service, he applies these skills to assist clients. Ty is a member of the Retail Division with NAI Latter & Blum assisting with market analysis, site selection and marketing packages. Ty’s drive and enthusiasm to deliver results and add great value to clients are some of his greatest assets. Ty was selected into the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute Cultural Diversity Program which aim at developing a critical mass of minority CCIM designees who can positively impact their respective communities and the commercial real estate industry in general.
