Professional Background

Background & Experience

While patrolling the streets of his community as a police officer, Mr. Monteleone began his real estate career with the purchase of a small multifamily property in 1999.  He immediately received a hands-on crash course in home renovation which quickly evolved into flipping dozens of real estate properties including single family homes, and multifamily projects.  He’s brokered countless transactions helping people achieve their real estate goals and coached many aspiring investors on the ins and outs of real estate investing.  Mr. Monteleone began his transition into commercial real estate when he became the property manager of a $30-million retail strip center and office building portfolio.  There he focused on creating systems to increase efficiencies of day-to-day task for facilities maintenance, managing contractors, budgets, tenant finish improvements, capital projects, and more.  Mr. Monteleone worked his way to becoming the commercial leasing agent for the portfolio where his responsibilities shifted to marketing, lead generation and cold calling, lease negotiations, business consulting and planning, and asset management all while maintaining a supervisory roll over property management.  He has substantial exposure to local municipalities having worked through the often-challenging processes of planning and zoning departments on behalf of his clients.  His creative approach to challenges has helped his clients successfully navigate the red tape.  Driven by his experience and intense desire to learn more about the commercial real estate industry, Mr. Monteleone earned the coveted CCIM designation in only 16 months.  As a Certified Commercial Investment Member, he is proficient in financial, market and investment analysis.  Mr. Monteleone believes the commercial real estate industry is in the midst of one of the greatest technology advancements in modern times.  He is excited to use new technology to provide data driven solutions for his client’s unique challenges.

Mr. Monteleone and his wife, Pamela, have three children. He has served on the board of directors for the Lafayette Science Museum Foundation, Acadiana Youth Children’s Shelters, Episcopal School of Acadiana, and currently Foster the Love Louisiana. He and his family have a passion for helping less fortunate children in their community and have opened their home to foster children since 2017.
